You will have approximately 1/2 of your CMO's time. This is the standard amount of time & attention needed to build/launch a new strategy, hire new marketing team members, and manage a mid- to large-sized marketing organization with 10+ team members.-
Manage Larger Marketing Team (5-10 direct + any indirect)
Will provide full evaluation, assessment & recommendations during first 60 days.
Quarterly planning & budgeting.
Participation in Executive meetings.
Travel to office or team meeting location every 4-6 weeks.
CMO 75%
You will have approximately 3/4 of your CMO's time. This is typically only for temporary or interim arrangements where the CMO needs to bee available most of every day to manage the marketing team, as well as work with other parts of the organization.-
Will provide full evaluation, assessment & recommendations during first month.
Quarterly planning & budgeting.
Participate in Executive meetings, including board meetings if requested.
Will travel for meetings, events, HR issues, etc. whenever necessary.
Manage all marketing team members.

How do I know which plan is the right size for us?
During our initial calls with you, we’ll evaluate what makes the most sense for your business based on your current/anticipated marketing operations and the revenue targets you’re trying to hit. We’ll make a recommendation for the first 90 days. If, after the first 90 days, we agree that there may be more or less time required from your CMO, we can make that adjustment.
What if we need something in between these plans?
These plans are just a “typical” approach that tend to fit software businesses at certain points as they start to scale. Of course, your needs are likely somewhat unique, so we will always work with you find the amount of help that will deliver the most value for you as an organization.
Do these plans include anything other than a CMO's time, leadership, and expertise?
As with your other executives, a fractional CMO is a strategic leader for your organization. While they may have skills in various areas that can be utilized in the execution of your marketing initiatives, this should not be your primary goal for bringing them into your organization. The execution of the strategy recommended by your CMO will fall to your existing team, vendors, and any other resources that your CMO recommends.
Do you have any smaller packages?
Because our CMOs have to become intimately familiar with the business operations of our customers, and we want them to be able to devote the adequate time, energy & problem-solving to your unique market offering, we do not offer anything lower than 1/4 time as a package. We do offer hourly rate consultations if you just need some periodic advice and career coaching for your marketing team.
